What is CurbSync?
A WhatsApp assistant that tells you when your passenger will actually reach the curb at Toronto Pearson (YYZ) — avoid circling and save on parking fees. You text a flight number; CurbSync tracks the flight and messages you as things change.
Is the curb time just the landing time?
No. On top of the landing and gate time, CurbSync adds deplaning, the walk from the gate, customs and immigration for international arrivals, baggage unloading, and the walk to the curb. That's why the curb time is later than the airline's “lands at” time.
Is there an iOS or Android app to download?
No. CurbSync runs entirely inside WhatsApp — no app, no account, no login. If you have WhatsApp, you're ready.

How do I upgrade, and what happens after I pay?
Reply buy for the $2.99 3-day pass or subscribe for the $9.99 monthly plan. You'll get a secure Stripe payment link; once you've paid, reply done. CurbSync then asks for your home postal code once and saves it for all future pickups.
How does the leave-home nudge handle traffic?
It checks live drive time from your saved home area to the airport and works backward from your passenger's expected curb time — so you leave at the right moment for current road conditions, not a fixed guess.
Does the nudge use my live location from WhatsApp?
No. CurbSync never reads your location. You save your home postal code once, and the nudge uses live traffic on that route. Nothing tracks where you are.
Will it tell me which baggage belt my passenger's bags are on?
For premium pickups where you've said your traveler has checked bags, CurbSync watches the airport's baggage feed and texts you the carousel number when bags start coming out — with a heads-up if they're running late and a note when they've all arrived. Carry-on-only pickups don't get belt updates.
What happens if my flight is delayed, cancelled, or diverted?
If your flight is delayed, your curb time updates automatically as the airline revises its estimate — you don't need to do anything. If it's cancelled or diverted, CurbSync messages you and stops tracking.
Can I track more than one pickup at the same time?
Yes. Each flight is tracked independently. Reply list to see all your active flights and reminders, and remove to drop one.
Can I set up a pickup days in advance?
Yes. Choose “set a reminder for a future flight” and pick the date — up to six months out. CurbSync messages you two days before to confirm and start tracking. If the flight is within two days, it starts tracking right away.
Is the estimate different for international vs domestic arrivals?
Yes. International arrivals account for customs and immigration (CBSA); domestic arrivals skip that step. CurbSync adjusts both the timing and the questions it asks accordingly.
Do I need to share my passenger's or my own personal details?
No personal details. The free tier asks nothing. Premium asks a few quick things about the flight — cabin class, how your passenger clears customs, and whether they have checked bags — and you save your home postal code once.
No names, no passport numbers, no ID. The only thing that identifies you is your WhatsApp number.
Which airports does CurbSync cover?
Toronto Pearson (YYZ) arrivals only, for now. If you text a flight arriving anywhere else, CurbSync will let you know it can't help with that pickup.
Where can I wait near the airport?
Reply spots for free parking, coffee, and food within five minutes of Pearson — including lots that are free for under 45 minutes.
